1. Who we are
GlossdUK is a mobile car valeting and detailing business based in Medway, Kent. For questions about your information, email hello@glossduk.co.uk.
Business owner/trading identity and full contact address are to be confirmed before publication.
2. What information you provide
An enquiry may include your name, email, optional phone number, car details, location, preferred date and time, preferred service and any photographs or other details you choose to send. Please send only information needed for your enquiry.
3. How the form works
The form prepares a message on your device. It does not submit your entries to a website database or save them in the website’s storage. You review the message and choose whether to send it using your email app. Information is received by GlossdUK only when you send it.
Google Calendar bookings
If you choose to load the appointment calendar or open the Google booking link, Google provides the booking page. Information you enter there, including your contact details, vehicle, postcode and chosen service, is processed by Google and provided to GlossdUK through its booking calendar. Google handles booking confirmations and its own cookies and technical information under its Privacy Policy. The embedded calendar is loaded only after you choose to open it.
4. Why we use information
We use enquiry information to answer questions, prepare a quote and arrange or carry out a service. Where you ask about or book a service, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract or to perform it. Relevant business records may also be kept to meet legal obligations. Necessary routine correspondence and security may rely on legitimate interests in running and protecting the business.
5. Service providers and website requests
Email and hosting providers process information needed to deliver their services. Technical request information, such as an IP address, may be handled by the website host. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Those providers may process technical information in other countries under their applicable safeguards and privacy terms. The final hosting provider and applicable transfer arrangements will be confirmed before launch.
6. Cookies and marketing
The website does not add advertising cookies or analytics scripts. Enquiry details are not sold or automatically added to a marketing list. The motion controls operate on the page without storing a preference.
7. How long information is kept
We keep enquiry information only while needed to answer the enquiry, arrange and deliver any service, and resolve related questions. Relevant transaction records may need to be retained for applicable tax, accounting or legal requirements. Records that are no longer needed are removed securely.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
